Ep. 4: Taryn Smith

Taryn Smith recently rowed all the way across the Atlantic Ocean BY HERSELF. She’s the first American woman to complete this feat as part of the World’s Toughest Row. 

Three years ago, having never rowed before Taryn quit her job and decided to train for this 3,000 mile row. We talked about her training and of course what it was like to be alone in the Atlantic for 46 days. Her daily Instagram videos during her row gained quite a following, even getting support from celebrities around the world. 

Taryn is an inspiration and a picture of what it looks like to chase your dreams, even when you’re scared.
